Anyone install Customized Cycles Cruise Control?

My 2001 Road King doesnt have it and I am looking for the right one. Cruise Mount looks complicated, just check out their site, you will struggle figuring out what to buy. Custom Cycle looks like a good kit but thier site lacks information. Most important I want one that works well and is trouble free.

Not true, my 2006 Deluxe is carbureted...I believe it was the last year they gave the option.
I think if I read the website correctly, for $55 you can get a carbureted conversion kit. This may be nice, I just have a $20 throttle lock lol, but this would def be nice for cross country trips!

Wife used it on a cross country road trip with a small group. Since its a little more difficult to set her speed to mine, Ilet her set the pace and set my cruise to her's Worked flawlessly kept speed constant up and down hills, and all along the freeways.
Install was no big deal, but you will have to remove the tank to get to the switch housing plugs. And also the back tire because of where the control module is mounted (in front of the wheel near the shock area

Just spoke to Dale at Customized Cycles. I was ready to throw down some cash. They no longer have kits for 2001 Road Kings. I have to buy a kit for a 2002, send it to him with $150, he will modify to work. Now I just need to find the part # for the obsolete 2002 kit. Dale said there were still some kits around but I would have to search Harley dealers to find one.

I installed the Cruise Mount on my 2010 Fat Boy Low. The hardest part was pulling the gas tank. Not cheap but well worth the price. The kit came with everything needed and was mostly just plug-in. My speed never varies more than 1 mph up or down and I no longer worry about blue lights in the mirror. I am 68 with arthritis in the hands and this allows me to continue riding long trips. My last long trip was 793 miles in one day and would not have been possible without the Cruise Mount.

I installed the Customizedcycle cruise system on my 05 standard this past winter and I love it!! Only problem was they did not have any more kits because part of the kit is made by Harley and is now obsolete, When I talked to Dale he told me if I could find the appropriate kit and send it to him he could convert it for a small price. I had my local HD dealer do a search he found one in Cal. which cost me 390.00 then Dale converted for me another 450.00 plus 55.00 for the carb conversion best money I've spent on this bike!! It was not hard to install either!
