Big City Thunder QQ baffles.... who wants ...
mine? LOL
Ill trade for a regular set...
Wrong forum, I know... but i want to hit the Softail group... I want baffles, thought i had a set.. came to find out they are just too quiet for me..
I have the knowledge to know I can go to An auto parts stoore, pic up a piece of pipe weld a bold and washer in there to produce nearly the same results..
But that requires work on my part... lol...

ahhh.. that would be a good bit of infor huh...
they are the V&H true duals...
part 16739
"The long awaited look of a true dual system for the Softail is finally here. Enhance the nostalgic look of a Springer Softail or any other Softail model with Vance & Hines Softail Duals head pipes and matched straight-cut Slip-ons with billet tips. And the look will shine on, thanks to full-length 2-1/8" head pipe and 2-1/2" muffler heat shields. Equipped with louvered core baffles standard, optional quiet baffles and fish-tail tips are also available."

Baffles
Try the BCT "Original" baffles, yes it's just as you say, a piece of pipe with a bolt and a washer welded to it, but if it were that simple, they wouldn't be in business. I have a set of them installed in the same pipes and LOVE them, had it re-dyno'd and I'm happy with the performance and the sound is great (low and loud) Install them at least 6" in from the exhaust end of the pipe. I wanted a beefier look, so I installed a set of SE performance pipes (gutted) and installed the BCT's again.
