Default New 2009 Softail Deluxe Price

I've been looking at this new 2009 Flame Blue Pearl Softail Deluxe since August of last year at the Chattanooga Harley Dealer. The MSRP for a solid color is $17,794, the Invoice Price Range is $13,828 - $15,180 and the Market Price Range is $17,024 - $18,689. What is a good 'walk out the door price'?

My dealer gave me an "out the door" price yesterday for a 2010 Deluxe of $16,350 and it included an alarm and the profile wheels.

$17495, may have been the 2009 msrp
but the msrp dropped for 2010 to $16745, 2 months ago i bought a brand new 2009 deluxe for . with only 199 added out the door. i called 17 dealerships and this was the lowest price by far. some came off the msrp but they all wanted a grand in add ons out the door. so i paid $15199 out the door (+ 2.8%tax)

Default What Color

What color was these bikes? I know you have to pay extra if the bike is not black.

Default Tax

hbarleatherneck, your out the door price included the 2.8% tax? So you really got the motorcycle for $14,600?

no, i paid $15199 for the bike. and i paid the government an additional 2.8%. so that works out to about another $420. so $. completely out the door. sorry for the confusion. the bike is black. and they drove 440 miles round trip to go get it for me. they didnt have one in stock. so they drove accross Colorado to get it. i am very happy with my purchase from them. i have bought before at other places and never had this good of an experience.

a dealer 15 miles from the one i bought my bike from wanted $17495 plus 1500 in add ons (dealer prep, freight, documentation fees) the one they had in stock had a dented fender. they said they could take a couple hundred off. what joke. i am glad i really called and emailed around. it was worth it in savings.

paying msrp for a 2009 would be ridiculous, because harley chopped the prices for 2010. so you would pay more for a 2009 than a 2010 if the dealer had their way with you.

My price was for a black bike and included 7% sales tax.
