Default Auxiliary Lamp Bulb #

Anyone know what the Auxiliary Lamp Bulb # is on the 09 Heritage? I am wanting to see if I can stop on my way home today and see if I can get a set that will match the silver star I have for the headlight and the engine guards lights they seem soooooooo dim now.

It's an 881. I don't believe they make a Silver Star version yet...at least I haven't seen one... if ya find it, please post where you get it.

Is the 881 a H3 bulb?

Here is a thread I done awhile back. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/softa...-pictures.html

But I suggest you not do this, It is easier to get a 893 bulb that is straight socket and cut notches in your plug in socket on the bike for the wires to rest in and not be squished. I used an exacto knife and was very careful.
The 893 bulbs are made in Silverstar and are 37.5 watts. I tried 55 watt bulbs (I forgot the number) , but they got the housing a little to hot for my liking, they may have been fine but I did not want to take a chance. If you look at the picture below, you will see black tape on the wires at the plug socket, cut a notch in that plug where the black tape meets the plastic socket, you do not need to place tape on the wires, I took it off.
If you use a 881 bulb you are using the same brightness you have now which is 27.5 watts.
