I don't typically start my bike cold with the clutch pulled in, but if I do there's typically a light pull forward.

I always pull the clutch in when I start the bike and always have it in neutral. Just in case it slips into gear for some damn reason. Doubt it would ever happen, but it would be my luck so I do it to be on the safe side.

I always start mine in neutral. Makes it a whole lot easier on the starter.

Clutch pulled IN - bike in gear - will always tug forward. Due to fluid being cold & dragging, usually.

Anything different, get it sorted.
+1 -- Also, the colder it is, the more its going to jump if not in neutral. When the bike is warm, it should start in gear with clutch in without much drama.

Just adjust the clutch on the cable first. That should take care of the problem.

it's not a big deal. when its cold, the fluid is thicker and the clutch doesn't have as much give.
