I'm casting my vote for the Fly'in apes, cause that's what's on my ride...

 

I like both I have the fly'n only because I got a hella a deal....I was slightly more drawn to the gangsters but fly'n aren't bad either...either way it will separate you from the crowd..

 

I don't have them on yet, but I have the 16" x 1.5" gangster apes with boob risers in my garage. I'm waiting on the cables to cone in so I can get them installed on my 07 Deluxe. Three of the other guys I ride with (2 Night Train and 1 Softail Custom) have gangster apes as well. They all love them. BTW, I picked up mine direct from the Carlini shop in SO CA. Great people, great shop, great workmanship, great bars, can't wait till I get mine installed! So is that 4 more votes for the Gangsters?

I gotta throw my vote down for the Gangster Apes....both are cool but I like the curve angle of the Gangster's just a little bit better.

 

Personally, I love the look of the gangster apes. Probably gonna go into the dealer with them and have them put them on my fat boy lo when I purchase it next month.

 

ive got a set of gangsters on my deluxe and i think they are lil bit to narrow at the bottom, i would have rather had the flyin apes but like i said i have a deluxe.

 

I went through the same thing two years ago. I liked the look of both, but went with the gangster apes, because they were less common at the time. 20k miles later - no regrets!
