I’m trying to remove the interment panel and the speedo reset **** is in the way. How do I go around this? Is there a way to remove it? I think my Clymer manual is about the most worthless thing iv bought. This bike is a 97

 

At least on my bike, there is a very tiny phillips screw way up in there- inside the ****. You need a long precision screwdriver with a small driver to get it loose.

 

Ok let me check this, iv was looking and looking in there but it just didn't look like a screw head in there.

 

yeah, mine's black-- can't even see it. I just ended up pushing a screwdriver up there figuring that's the only way it could be in there, and... yep.
