I have seen a Heritage front fender on Fatboys and I like it. It really changes the look.

I love mine. I got it from one the local builders and had it slammed down on the tire and the rivits ground off and finished in Black Denim. . . . www.nativecustombaggers.com

JMHO
I am considering doing this to my front fender. Could you tell me exactly what is involved to fit this fender and lower it? Thanks

Mine? If so, thanks. I'll keep the seat for a bit b/c it means the Mrs. can ride with me and I can't afford a Road Glide right now. However, I am beginning to kick around the idea of a spring seat mod for the bike when I want to run solo.

I went with the clean FL Softail fender in the HD accessories book 59054-96. One of my favorite mods.

This is the one I was considering getting also, was yours around $250.00? Did that mount right on, or did you have to drill any holes out or anything? From what I understand is that it will mount right up to the 07 fatboy front.

I am also eventually going to get 18" tires for the front and back. After thinking about this I am thinking that maybe the front stock fender may not look so bad once I do this. Too many damn options!!!!!!!! LOL

Everybody has their own tastes. i really think the Fat Boy is the best looking bike Harley makes. That's why I bought one new in '02 and have kept it. It's clean and no extra crap look makes it for me. If you put a bigger front fender and worse yet passing lights, it clutters up the bike. Why not just ride a Deluxe or a Heritage? Hell I put a Fat Boy fender on my Street Glide. I don't change stuff to be different, I change it cause I like the look or performance. I don't find much I don't like on the Fat Boy as it comes from the Factory.

Default Front tin

Hey,
I also went with the FL softail clean front tin. Page 741 in the 2010 catalog...goes for about a buck eighty. Took mine to a local auto body place for paint. Real happy with the look...really helped balance out my bike, since I put on the auxiliary lights and the big'ol beefy nacelle. You've got some choices to make, but they all look great.

the fender mounts right up no drilling at all i went with 21 x 3.5 in the front and 18 x 5.5 in the rear. Once you put the wheels on the stock fender will look different check out hogpro they have some picture of 07 fatboys with 18's on with the stock fender
