Hell Mike... Just lift the front and... Spin & Spray...

I couldn't post pix from Photobucket last night... so here they are my PC'er charged me $75.00 bucks per rim... (I got a of standard rims cheap) Thats why I tried it... Couldn't be happier about them. Going on 2 years now through tire changes and not one problem with them. Go for it!!!

$30 Rims
$150 PC
$100 Bearings removed and installed... Indy I think I got ripped?
$15 New straps for rims
$50 For new tubes
$30 to remount and balance

And I did all the taking apart and putting back together. The little things kinda added up... Still worth it!

you can, you loose the ability to true your wheel but wheels once true go out so rarely... i do sugest using dyna beads to balance it after you are done though... as stated it is all in the prep!

Doesnt the powdercoat that builds up where the spokes cross tend to crack? Especially if youre puttin any kind of power to the rear wheel.

Nah... I talked to the guy first and he told me he's done a few without problems... Potholes, 100mph, and Burnouts... Not one chip or flake... Like anything if the prep is quality you get quality.

powder is very flexable, hell we caot springs all the time. it will only chip and/or crack if the prep was not done right. we do these all the time

ok bear with me here as Im still unsure of this. I understand that its all in the prep, but Im talkin about the point where spokes cross. Actually there is no metal there, just buildup of powder.

So Joe, if I were to have a spoke wheel here and want it done all one color, do you recommend just doing it all fully assembled? Or do you recommend disassembly? Your answer here will clear it up for me. Thank you!!

I recomend tearing it down and coating it of course, but that is much more expensive for truing and lacing costs. you can also coat it as a whole, the main benifit of tearing it down is to allow for trueing in the future if you need to. But wheels go out of true so so so rarely that it is fine. the main reason i like to tear down is like to to do the spokes and nippled diff colors than the rims. but that is just me. We have and i have even on my own builds shot wheels full
there is really not a build up where the spokes cross, powder flows out as it cures and will flow out thought those cracks, it is not like paint where you will get drips and runs in cross sections.
