I picked up the medium harley sissy bar today for the 9" mustang pad and the bar is way too short. It's going on my 08 custom. I can't find a taller bar in the catalog and was told this bar would work. Any ideas?

 

i have a taller bar with red white and blue #1 i used on the sportster but dont know if it will fit.

 

I don't think it will. The main problem is the 200 rear tire. Can't even buy stuff for a heritage. I got the thing to fit but it's not high enough. We'll try it out and see.

I have the Mustang seat and pad....pad measures 9X12 inches.
I'm using a HD bar with a small single medallion, two screws hold the pad on the bar. I'll try and find the part number for you. I also have the 200MM tire on my FXSTI.

The HD Part# that I used with my Mustang pad is : 51477-06
I also put a HD 5 bar rack on with it. HD Part # 53896-06
According to the "wish book" they are both designed with the bobtail fender and 200 tire in mind.
