Took my first ride today on the wifes Deluxe...WOW...what a sweet ride. Lots of fun, easy to handle, and really does handle better than the ultra does.

Don't get me wrong, I love the Ultra, but if I had the money to do it, I'd get me a Deluxe to sit next to the ultra, and save the Ultra for longer trips riding two up.

 

I love my Ultra and my Fatboy, no way I could give up either one.

 

I would never think of going from a Dresser to a Softail. There is no comparison in comfort, handling, or ride between my wife's Heritage and my EG Classic.

I rode her Heritage the other day, and found it touching down in corners at least 10 or 15 MPH slower than my EG Classic does. This is her biggest complaint about the bike, and why she is consdiering going to a Street Glide.

About 3 months ago I bought my first Harley, a 2006 FXST Softail Standard. Now I love this bike and how it rides but you have peaked my interest. I think I might have to go check out a dresser. Thanks

 

I've been going the other way around. Been eying the Street Glide. Was at the dealer today and they look pretty sweet. Only thing is I'm not ready to have a tourer as my only ride just yet. Thinking of adding it down the road instead of trading.
