thats a great question. I bought an 03 heritage last year from a guy that paid 30 at the dealer with no pipes, just chrome. I just put on V & H big shots long with a P.C.V and H.D. heavy breather. Everyone has an opinion but only yours matters. Mine is the long shots look best on the heritage with the bags.

I was wondering the same thing. When I was just looking at the bike the guy selling it said he thought the pipes sounded pretty good. Guess our taste in sound differ a lot!

I am looking at the vance and hines straight shots. Do any of you know where on the web I could go that I could hear a sample?

do alittle homework on the straight shots. I'm told that the shorter the pipe the more lower end torque you loose.
