Default If you have a NT and apes...come here

I know plenty of people on here do so help me out please. I am going with 14" apes and 2" risers. The local shop said go +12 on all cables and that is what I did. None of it is here yet so I don't know for sure, but do you think those are too long? If you add the increase in rise and half the increase of pullback it adds up. I just don't want to have cable flappin everywhere.

I can just wait until it all comes in but if they are too long I can just hurry up and rush order so new ones so I am not waiting forever.

I have an 08 night train with 1.5" risers and 14" wild1 apes. I went with +12 motion pro cables for the throttle and idle, 68 or 70" inch for the clutch (forget which), and 52" for the brake.

With 2" risers I would stay with the +12 throttle/idle cables, but go with a an inch more than I did with both the brake and clutch line.

It will won't be too short, that is for sure. I recommend that people get +8 or +10 with 16"'s.

therels no way that +8s will work with 14" chubbys. Maybe with apes that don't actually have a 14" end rise, like the ones that are 14" then really have an end rise of 12" or something. On 16" wild1s that would be way too short. You may be able to get away with a +10 on 14s but I'd think if you have an actual end rise of 14 that woukd be a little tight too. You can always take up slack too.
