I like the originality of the shape but not the finish. I wish it were chromed or even better glossy black. But I would not remove it and have plated by a chrome shop... too expensive!

 

Instead of having it chromed how about having it airbrushed with some cool paint job or design or just make it look more like a real grenade add army green and add shadow lines for the ridges.

 

Hum... Inspiring thougts. I will indeed consider something that way.
And if i pursue with a realisation, i will post it this fall. As for now i will enjoy my summer rides as is...

 

 

I know this is an old thread, but here's another option that's now available from Tecnicad in Italy. It also fits the Breakout, which has the same "hand grenade" coil.

I have a polished cover on my Rocker C, and a black anodized on my Breakout.

 

I got that one too, but had it engraved...
