It isn't new. I couldn't afford a new rocker and still do the mods I wanted so I ended up picking up an 08 that has been laid over with very little damage except for almost all parts that I had wanted to replace anyways. To be honest, the chrome tank will probably be for sale in a few months as I am having my bike painted flat black. I am not going to go crazy blacking out the hole bike but I have an idea in my head of what I want and I think the oil tank just adds too much chrome with the flat black.

Found this on the pages skipper469 scanned and posted in thread titled:
NEW 2010 Roland Sands Products Scanned. Pictures!

https://www.hdforums.com/forum/softa...-pictures.html

Exchange program for Rocker oil tanks .. send yours and they send you a chromed one back sounds like a decent deal for $225

Checked out the website listed ( http://www.willyshiny.com ) but no mention of it, guess you will have to call.

If anyone else is interested in a chrome oil tank for the Rocker I talked to Joe @ the phone # listed in Rakhti's link-seems like a pretty up-front guy. He strips down and plates factory tanks. Cost is $225+shipping and a $400 core fee returned when u send back old tank. He's gonna e-mail me some new products they're working on for the rocker like a customized air cleaner cover.

I have dealt with Joe in the past. I can vouch he is an upstanding guy. He is quick to refund any core fees as soon as he gets he gets your parts.

You can get the FXSTSE tank at Chicago Harley-Davidson for $560.00. However, I believe Rail is right that it would be cheaper to chrome the tank. Chromasters', who platted the Statue of Liberty Bike for OCC, pricing begins at $120 and up for an oil tank
