Great post! You did a great job of incorporating your design along with Warg's.

Now how can I get one of these bags on with my saddlebags???

Just a side note here about my stock heritage bags. I attached industrial velcro to the quick release clips and the back side of the straps to keep them from popping out of the buckle and flopping around at higher speeds.

Now the zip ties hold the bag on the frame super tight and the stock straps just cover the ties. Zero movement so I don't think it rubs much. I did use the same type method to hold my bottle opener. I used a section of an old tag as abacking plate.
nice info thanks. i too am zip ties but the ideal of the strap over them sounds great

Yep, I think tripwire759 did it with his fishtails. Here's the link to his post: https://www.hdforums.com/forum/softa...ml#post6081630

You basically use the same mounting points and drill the holes in the back plate to position the plate up higher.

I have a "How to" on this on my blog (www.chasinwhitelines.blogspot.com) as well.

Yeah that was me that did that. I know all Deluxe's look the same right? As for the mount for duals it was pretty simple. WARG is correct all I did is move it up a few inches to clear the pipe and use the same blet holes that WARG used. Works like a champ! Here is the link.

WARG, You edited on me as I was posting... Again thanks for doing those holes first.
