There does seem to be a lot of guys getting apes lately...is it a new trend???? There are hardly any bikes with them here where I live. I bet there are a ton out in CA though...haven't been there in a while.

Really like your apes. How do like them so far? It's been snowing since the day I put them on my bike and have only rode about 15 minutes.

I just got back for quick 70 mile ride and it is MUCH more comfortable
Bars put me up and back into my seat.....felt like I could ride all day.
About 85-90 mph there is more movement with arm higher(wind effect)
but It is the best thing I have done so far for looks and comfort.

Those apes look great...I have been going back and forth between 16's and 18's and I think 16's are the way to go. Has anyone seen what HCC's "narrow" bars look like?? Compared to the standard width bars? The measurement difference is minimal...just curious as to how different they look. Thanks for the great info...MIKE

What does the 09 Heritage come stock with I would like to go a little higher maybe 2 or 3 inches than what is on the bike now which is stock.

heritage come stock with 7.5" rise bars (at least mine did - 04)

If I am not mistaken I think in 09 HD changed on the Heritage to a higher bar but I don't know how much of a change.
