Default New Front Fender for Rocker C Back from the Shop

I bought a Wild Card Saracen 4 3/4 in. Wide Front Fender from Dennis Kirk for my Rocker C and recently took it to a local indie shop in Marion, MN, called MC Iron Works. I had a design I made drawn up for him and he chopped my fender for me. I think Earl Rand really did a great job and for a decent price.

Daaayuummm.. bad azz bro.

Are you going to support it the back end of it... These type of fenders catch alot wind and could bend it...could.... Before paint maybe just welded some strips of flat still molded to frame for added strenth...

Thanks Joe, that is some good advice. My son knows how to weld, so when he returns home from Antarctica I'll have him take a look at it.

Fender looks great...very unique. I +1 on Joe What comment...those intricate cuts might bend with the wind. Be interested in seeing pics once painted/installed.

Nice fender

The fender is made from 14 gauge steel and is very sturdy. I asked Earl (who builds custom bikes) if it would be sturdy enough for riding and he said it would hold up well. Also once it is put on at the proper angle the bottom of the fender will slice the wind, allowing air to flow around it, putting the majority of the pressure on the front edge of the fender not the flat surface. However, I will still have my son weld a piece around the bottom of the fender for added strength.

Very nice, your rocker is one the best I've seen(IMO). You guys are always doing something to your bikes. Is that by choice or is something that I will not be able to control once I have mine in the garage. LOL
