2007 Softail Springer Classic w/ Picture
Went to the local Harley dealer today to see if they had any 07 bikes. "Well sir, We have just received a large shipment". They took me out back and sure enough 16 in the crates. My intentions are to buy a 07 Softail Springer Classic in Olive Pearl and Vivid Black. The salesman took me around and there it was in the crate. All I can say is that this new color is truly awesome amongst the 96", 6-speed, and the Springer. Hopefully I should take delivery by Friday or Monday.
The dealer I am talking about is Champion Harley Davidson located in Roswell, N.M. I dealt with John Parker!

Congrats on a sweet looking ride...
I did not care for the color when I saw it on the HD website but I knew it would look better on a real bike outside. HD needs to do something about their website and the colors...
They redesigned the exhaust this year to give it more lower frequencies and to make it louder...supposed to be at the legal limit on noise. How does it compare to stock exhausts from previous years?

The exhaust is horrible. Sounds like a stock Triumph. For now I will install a set of HD Screaming Eagle slip-on's until hopefully BUB will offer a pipe. Other than the exhaust the bike is great. I originally wanted to install a set of black powdercoated laced wheels but I hear many conflictions regarding some surprise changes on the mechanical side of the bike. I need to count the pulley teeth, measure the width of the pulley, and the measure front and rear axle dimmensions (O.D.). Oh the other real cool thing is the new HD Security. No more clicking the fob. The bike will arm and disarm within a certain area as long as the fob is present. The downside is if you lose the fob(s) you will have to purchase a new ECM due to the fact the each set of fobs is particular to that bike only.
