I like it, that's a real cool looking Classic. You will definitely turn some heads with that.

WOW!!! Looks great. In my eye that paint combo seems to fit the classic the best. Enjoy your new ride and thanks for the info on the 07.

VERY NICE!!! I know what you mean on the pipes - my Wife said with the stock exhaust, mine sounded like a 67 VW Beetle (installed a pair of Cycle Shack slip-ons and solved the problem.)

Stay Safe,

Dave

ORIGINAL: PTS

The exhaust is horrible. Sounds like a stock Triumph. For now I will install a set of HD Screaming Eagle slip-on's until hopefully BUB will offer a pipe. Other than the exhaust the bike is great. I originally wanted to install a set of black powdercoated laced wheels but I hear many conflictions regarding some surprise changes on the mechanical side of the bike. I need to count the pulley teeth, measure the width of the pulley, and the measure front and rear axle dimmensions (O.D.). Oh the other real cool thing is the new HD Security. No more clicking the fob. The bike will arm and disarm within a certain area as long as the fob is present. The downside is if you lose the fob(s) you will have to purchase a new ECM due to the fact the each set of fobs is particular to that bike only.

Perry

Perry,

Becareful on the "new" screamin eagle pipe. It is my understanding that they are for cosmetic purposes only (2006 on). The sound is no different from stock. So that's a lot od coin for something that only improves the look IMO. You need to find a set of the pre-2006 pipes. This is what I had to do on my 06 Springer Classic. You may have an issue with the new 96' motor.

Today I took a chance and ordered a set of BUB Rinehart Eagle Beak slip-ons. I will see what happens.

When I first saw the new '07s on the HD website, I zeroed right in on that green and black paint scheme, which I think looks best on the springer; reminiscent of old wartime Harleys.

IMHO, with that particular paint, that is the hottest looking 07 Harley. Congratulations!!!

Was picking up my bike today after having some new pipes installed (V&H Big Shots--wow, what a difference from stock!!), and was talking to a guy waiting for his new ride. Turned out it was the Heritage in exactly the same color scheme. Was a very sharp bike.
