$14,000.00 that laughable. that bike wouldnt be worth that much in perfect condition. maybe $4,000.00 as is and taking a chance at that. you really wont know what damage is done until you get into it. you dont know what damage is in the tranny or engine until it started and run, and then may have problems down the road. i wouldnt buy it.

Let's look at what it will need.
1.Handlebar controls(some missing)
2.headlight fork tins
3.Front/ rear cylinders, heads(top end redone minimum)
4. Motor mount
5.Anniversay tank (if you want original $$$)
6.Most likely front end damage (new front end)
7.left floorboard,and shifter arm
8. Good possibility of bent frame ( mucho dinero)

When looking at a bike that you can't check out completely, you have to look at the worst case senerio . I have bought quite a few used bikes, and damaged bikes. While this one is fixable, it will still only be a $6500 bike once you are done with the repairs. Remember, this will come with a salvage title. Just trying to help here. In this market ,you can't swing a dead cat without hitting an 06 Heritage in good condition for $12,500. Hope that helps you.

If you get the bike on the cheap, do the work yourself, well then you can think about getting involved. You should come back and post what it's going for before you buy. Login in from your phone or whatever but if you pay too much, it's not going to be worth the hassle or labor to fix it up (bent frame, jugs, etc.. anniversary tins) when you can get a nice 03 for I think 11ish if you look hard enough. If you want to fix and sell, well things to think about are: What's the original mileage on the clock? Salvage title? Would "You" buy a bike that's been in an accident for the same money you could find a mint one? and the list goes on.... Good luck

Worth next to nothing in this challenged economy. $2000 max. If it was pristine and had a salvaged title its $5000-$6000 grand.

I wouldnt even fool with that bike. Its scrap. That jug took a hard enough hit to make me walk away...Priced a crank lately?

Not much there. Go buy one thats in one solid piece and rideable.

Between the frame and the jugs, I wouldn't pay more than a grand for the whole package.... and that's if I had a whole truckload of time and money to start the headache that will be causing you a loss in sleep. By the time you're done you will have WAY more money into that pile than it will ever be worth.

I would give you a grand for it....just because I have LOTS of time and really need something to work on.

That left frame tube looks pretty nasty! If it is damaged at all, you have a parts bike at best. Or maybe the start of a custom frame build??? I just hope you are handy with a wrench, but with you asking about labor cost????

Good luck on your next find, as stated above, RUN A AWAY from this one.

That is not a fixer upper, it is a scrap motorcycle, and most of the parts that are worth money are damaged.
Pass on it.
