Default Quick Connect on Fuel line Leaking?

I noticed today I was leaking some fuel from the quick disconnect chrome piece on the left side of the tank. I disconnected the hose from it and don't see a gasket and there is no leaking anymore. When I reconnect the hose and assure the chrome piece is pulled down properly, I get leaking from it again. Is there an internal gasket on the chrome quick connect piece on the fuel tank and can it bf replaced? Hopefully I don't have to replace that whole piece......

regards,

Dale

If I remember correctly, there is an o-ring inside there. I had the same problem last year and was not able to find the correct size here. I ended up replacing the entire assembly. It did require opening the tank to access the hose. If you have to go this route, remember to get new screws for the tank plate with the plastic washers. Good Luck!!
