You might want to ask chuck (outlaw) for which two wires you switch at that Coil so you can have the wires not crossed up.

The tag bracket I made out of the same piece of steel I made the coil bracket from, bought it from Home Depot for less than $10
I actually made two tag mounts, 1 vertical & 1 horizontal.
and yes it just bolts up to the belt guard hole.
picture of it...

Are you doing anything for some light on the tag? I guess that may be a state by state thing on tag lights.

I am embarrassed to say this...
but I have put the bike together and found two remaining screws that I can't find a home for...

anyone have any ideas ?
anyone have their tank off and can make sure it does not go under there somewhere ?

I only took apart/removed the front end, the tank, seat, coil, horn, and rear shocks...

Please help a brother out.

Looks great!,
Mine was looking pretty close to this condition for about the past 2 weeks by doing the bars (internal wiring), shocks and pipes.
Definately like where you are heading with this build.

I didn't see any screws like those under the tank.
check your original coil bracket or what was left over from the horn.
Didn't you also state that you took off the frame post just in front of the oil bag?

Hope this helps
