I put the Dbl barrels on my bike and didn't like them at all.Not a deep enough tone to them.I tried the Big City Thunder baffles and they sounded like chit in those pipes.Ended up getting the BSS pipes.Put the quiet baffles in them and they sound great.I don't think they are to loud at all.Should have bought them in the first place.I got the Dbl barrels laying in the garage if you are interested.I'll make you a helluva deal on them.

To each his own, but I really like the V&H double barrell longs on my '09 Heritage (Stage 1 air, SE tuner). I didn't want anything too loud, but they have a really nice sound and I think they look good on a Heritage. Attached are a couple pictures (I hope!).

Another vote for the DB's. I just finished my install about a week ago and they are very nice sounding. Here's a pic of them on my Fatboy and a youtube video of the sound on a SE Fatboy.

I agree...the Double Barrel Longs are really nice. I have the slip ons on my Sportster and it's louder than then the Deluxe. But the tone is just as nice on both. The Deluxe has the long pipes so a lot of the sound is going out behind you so you don't have to listen to the pipes CONSTANTLY on long trips. They sound great and work nicely. I put the V&H FuelPak on both bikes and they both run great with the V&H pipes. I highly recommend the DB longs.
