JQ..... Great job on the rear fender... I'm planing to cut my fender soon and am wondering if you can upload some closeup pictures for us to see.

I also totally agree with Alian, what brake lights are those... are they aslo run/brake/turn signal lights?

Cheers!

Hey all...

Thanks for the kind words... cutting the rear fender was really a work of practicality. What I did was remove the rear brake light piece which left 3 mounting holes to cover. We cut a straight line over the furthest mounting hole and basically used the piece that was cut off as a template of what the rear fender should look like… the result is what you see!!

As for the rear led light, there is no kit on the market for the light (the problem is that the rear brake harness is a 12 pin socket), it’s basically a radiance led light (available on amazon.com) hooked up to the brake light, they’re very flexible so they can follow the curve of the fender. I might remove it though and try to make my indicators work as brake, turn signals…

Well watch this space as I’m planning to slam the fender closer to the tire, play with the brake light/turn signal setup and upgrade her to a 103ci beast

J

Sorry I dont have any pics at the moment, will try to take some and post them
