Default Harley Davidson Deluxe part number making no sense.

I own a 2006 Deluxe and I want to try and find a muffler bracket to have chromed. The 2006 Parts manual says it is # 65399-05. But on the back of the bracket on my bike is casted 65406-05 in it. Can anyone out there see if they have this same casting number on there muffler bracket? I have stock pipes with slip on mufflers. If you have different pipes you may have removed the muffler bracket. I have tried this part number (65406-05) everywhere and it does not show up in any book or web page. If you still have your bracket on your Deluxe you will need a mirror to read the numbers on the bracket.

Use the Parts Catalog Part Number not the casting number. I found this out with casting numbers when tracking down some Cylinders. The casting numbers look like part number but they are not.

Also, I think Harley sells a Chromed version already.

I don't see it in the 09 catalog but found something in the 08

65133-05

I also looked up part 65399-05 on Zanottis website and it comes up @ $77.

I just had a look at my bracket off an 08. Didn't see any numbers.

If you're wanting a bracket to have chromed yourself, give me a day to see if I still have mine. If I do I'll send them to ya. I doubt there's any difference between '06 and '07.

Thanks for the info , But the 65133-05 (Harley Chrome Version) appears to fit a Fatboy and not a Deluxe according to the 06 parts Catalog.
I checked with Zanotti HD and they did not show it in inventory. OH well maybe ElSupremo can help.
