Looking for a tip or trick to remove fussy screws.
Hi folks,
I'm in the middle of changing fluids ans I drained the primary and went to unscrew the five torx screws on my cover (07 Deluxe). Man they're in tight!!
Two cracked and came loose, the other three are giving me grief. The T-27 driver I'm using keeps slipping and I'm worried I'm going to strip them.
Does anyone have a helpful tip you can post? Worse comes to worse, I could drill the heads off and just replace them...kinda nervous with that idea.
Thanks in advance for any help!

I did the same thing but luckily only had one. Make sure if your not to use the blue thread lock and not red on those. Maybe try a small butane torch or something to heat it up a bit, then before you start to turn tap the torx socket with a hammer slightly and press and turn. I drilled mine out then banged one of those torx sockets into it and it came right out...just replace the bolt and use a torque wrench next time. Good luck
