Thanks Mimo, I had it narrowed down to only 2 choices....

But V&H, or nobody else, has offered me a money back guarantee if I wasn't happy with a pipe!!!

The Thunderheader has the looks, sound and (from what I've read) performance. It looks like it might hang a little lower than some of the other pipes out there.... have you ever scraped it, Mimo?

Alisha said if she hears one more Harley crank up and idle, she's throwing my laptop out the window! Haha! I have listened to every youtube clip I can find.

My bike is lowered 2" in the rear brother, I've never scraped the pipe, not even back when the bike was lowered 4" (milimeters from rigid).

I hope you end up happy with watever you choose, then post pics.

Mimo.

With the BSL's U'll lose some over the stock system U have now and even more when compared to a 2-1.
If U ride 3k or over most of the time U wont notice it much with the longs. but the 2-3k rpm range is where its noticeably on a dyno sheet..

Haven't seen any dynos on The new Pro pipe, but pretty sure it wouldn't be any worse than the old one.

Mimo, I think I'm going to join the Thunderheader team! Your guarantee and this video made up my mind. The before/after photos toward the end of the video let me see exactly how it's gonna look on my ride. I like! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gFpUpAyVdOA

You made the right decision. You won't be disappointed with the sound or the performance of the Thunderheader. I'm glad you didn't fall into the D&D hype. Those things sound like crap IMO.

I've gotta recover from a Thundermax A/T purchase this morning, but I will have a Thunderheader before the new year!

The FatCat is too fat for me!

I prefer the big shot staggards over the longs particularly with the bags off.
I also wouldn't expect a very noticeable difference with a 2-1 with a stock or
fairly stock motor. Properly tuned the staggards with the power chamber aren't that bad, more so with the quiet baffles. IMHO
Having said that, if you're going to pump the motor, go with the 2-1.
