I just talk to my paint guy I want this done over a black bace,I no its not the way it should be but Thats want I want to try.

Do you mean a translucent black base? My friends want me to experiment with a translucent base color if that's what you mean. Whatever the color but make sure the mix is translucent enough so the raw sheet metal still shines through, then clear over that. Give it a shot if that's what you mean. Post up pics whenever the time comes.

No I want gloss black just something diffent.... I have a painter who just did two jobs one just like the tank from the movie and the other was done over a gloss primer gray both jobs were great! This guy got the paint dead on. I love that movie bike so I like to one day would like to have a piece of that movie on my bike so I got the idea of a gloss black base never saw anything like that ever...

he got a 1000 dollars to do the tank but it was dead on just like the movie bike.. I am very picky and shocked how great it came out...
