I am trying to find an affordable 21x3-3.5 rim to have laced up to my factory hub with Buchanan spokes. I did a search of the forum and the only thing I could find was a $30 rim for jirhea. I have used google and bing as well with no results. I don't know how I feel about something that cheap but I don't feel the need to get Apollo or Sun rims either. I have called a few shops and they seem dumbfounded that I just want the rim. Can anyone help? While I am asking, anyone know a good powdercoater in San Diego/ Socal? Thanks!

I got the Jireh rim (think I paid more than $30 for it) and did the same thing (stock hub, Buchana spokes) and its workin just fine. Go for it.

Could you use the same spokes, going from a 21x2.15 to a 21x3.25?

 

Possibly but they are crappy IMO....I am going to go with Stainless steel.
