Default Rhinehart vs VH big rad on Fatboy opinion

Need some advice. I have 2000 fatboy with VH slip ons and looking to upgrade. I like the look now but would like little louder and not as high pitch (crackling). I done a search for the comparison but had no luck.

I am looking a set of Rhinehart flush cuts and VH big radius for the decision. Can I get some opinions which would be the deepest sound but louder than slip ons?

THanks
Mike

The V&H large radius 2 into 1 has a deeper thoatier sound than my large radius 2 into 2's
but the later is far louder imho.

The Rinehart 2-1 will have a deep tone. Not too loud at idle, but sound mean when you get into it. Plus you get the advantage of eeking slightly more HP out than with 2-2. I like my Rinehart......

THanks for the opinions. This pipe issue is hard to decide.

THanks again

I like my V&H BRs but since my bike has been lowered 1" in the rear the lower pipe drags a little when I turn. I think it hits about the same time as my floor board does. Other than that I wish they had a little deeper sound, but I'm still happy.

You can also replace the baffles in the vance and hines with either the vance and hines quiet baffle or some Big City Thunder baffles for a deeper tone.

I love the sound of my Rinehart, but, my wife's bike has Vance and Hines and I think the quality of the Vance and Hines is a little better. She has the Big Radius, I have the 2-1, and hers is louder, while mine is a deeper tone.

Thumbs up

For looks, i would say the Rinehart. Dont think the V+H Big Radius suits the FATBOY!!! If you want to stay V+H, go with the PRO-PIPE!!!

Thanks for the feedback. I went ahead and bought the Rhinehart 2into2 system a member had listed on the forum. I hope they sound better than the VH slip ons I have.

I will list the slip ons if in classifieds if anyone interested.

Ride safe
