I've painted my wheels, lower forks, and ape hangers. As long as you take your time and prep it right, it works GREAT! Scuff up your rim the best that you can. Then use a good self etching primer. Then paint and clear. Mine have held up great. And I live down a mile of dirt and gravel road.

we powder wheels all the time! looks great holds up even better!
here are my wifes wheels after 10,000 miles on them
they still look like the day we pulled htem from the oven


all laced up ready to go

Go to Advanced Auto parts, and get some spray can epoxy paint. It is made for calipers and tie rods, and other suspension parts. It holds up very well, and it gas resistant
