personally, I like em. but like someone said earlier im to chicken sht to drill holes in my fender. congrats on the new bling and the giant brass nads.

I like the look of the chrome rails but I think the emblem takes away from the look. It makes the fender look too crowded or "busy". I think that the rails with the chrome tip is plenty. Definitely keep the rails.

I think that once you change something.........It's a little late to ask what everyone else thinks. To show it off is one thing. But at that point......It's to late to ask.

But it looks good on your bike.

:icon_that:

I have been staring at my front fender for a year trying to decide to go with those, the Heritage fender rail or the Indian head white running light.

Yeah, well you already drilled the holes. I would have placed them on temporary took pictures then asked. I see them on mostly older nostalgic looking bikes...Heritage Springer, Deluxe..etc... I just never understood the purpose.. Personally I think all these fender rails and bumpers just start to look goofy.

Yeah, take off the center emblem too.

If anything I would add a Fender Lamp like on the Heritage Springer.

In any event, it's your bike to look at everyday so do what works for you. Asking here will only confuse you more.. and cost you more money.

Hey you asked...

Mike.

Well...It looks like you were bored and just wanted to add "something" to the bike. I have never been a fan of those for our bike due to the fact the lines on the bike were meant to be clean not cluttered. However, it is your bike and if you like them, go with them.

Can you tie a bed roll or something on there if you need to? Looks like they belong on the back, but I'm still up in the air on them. They are chrome...so you do get points for that... but like many others (above), I need time to get use to them. Nice mounting job though. What'd they cost ya?

A bike is like a wife, so remember,
It's your's, your the only one riding it, so go with your heart.

I like it. At first I didn't due to my style but if your going to do a vintage build with the 50's in mind, I think it looks bitchin. All and all it looks good.

I agree completely!!! I would remove the center emblem (hopefully no drilling there). I like the stancions a lot. Looks great but too busy with the center piece. Keep the stancions!

P.S.- You have guts (and did a really good job) cause I put a front fender rail on my Heritage (for that nostalgic look) but had held off on the rear because two holes have to be drilled. Trying to grow ba**s...LOL

Steve
