Default 2003 softail heritage harley - tires and brake pads

Hey guys,
figured i would pop in here to ask your opinons... my dad rides a 100th aniv softail heriage. He and mom are heading to FL for a few weeks and i want to slap some new rubber on it, as well as brake pads. He is not into white walls no matter how hard i try to get him to slap them on...

While i have it in my shop i am going to toss new bearings in the wheels as well as some more chrome... got to keep the old man happy! i was wondering what is the largest size tire that he can fit on the back? does anyone know off hand what the tire sizes are for this bike? Any sugestions on tires for it? I run Metzlers on most of my scoots but figured i would ask you guys...

Does someone on here still sell Lyndall pads? I would rather send my $ to someone on here than have to order them elsewhere!

I know it may be a long shot but if someone knows the bearing numbers that would save me a ton of time.

Sorry fo all the questions but i am in the office all day and knowing this stuff will save me a ton of time when i get into the shop tonight and have to start ordering parts. have a good one!

thanks guys!

Been nice to say what size tire are on there now...
Usually can go one size up...but I just went through this, this spring. Everything that I looked at thats bigger is also taller also which I didn't want.
I went with Dennis Kirk and save bout 1/3 over dealer even with discount. Indy mounted them.
I also ordered the Z-pad but the Indy said my bike even with 21k didn't need front brakes yet so can't say anything bout them.. but I have them when I do.
The rear pads where changed at dealer at 16k, but when I got home and looked at the old pads, they could have went another 5 or even 10k easy. They had over 1/2 of the material still left on them.

I had really good luck with the stock Lops and have stayed with them, on 3rd rear, 2nd front. stock size.....
If the Lops Elite 3's were made in the correct size for the heritage I'd diffentily go with them....

I can not pick up his scoot till this weekend... so i do not have it avail to look at it... i went with stock dunlops the last time i swapped them out but do not have the sizes here in the office. I am a huge fan of lyndall pads! been blown away by how great they work.

looks like the Elite 3's may be the way to go!

You should be able to squeeze a 160 on the rear. The Metzler and Avon's are a tad narrower as I am sure you are aware.
