Do a search...long list of threads on oil, lots o typing and lots o Opinions. I will say that you will always need to put 20/50 in the engine, the rest can get as complicated as you may like. You can research on AMSOIL, REVTECH, some kind of Purple stuff etc...... personally I go with AMSOIL.

Default I agree with RocetRocker

Amsoil runs cooler and there are claims of improved horse power, not sure I felt that though.

I don't think oils have been discussed before...

Read up...its all a matter of choice and preference

Do a search there are hundreds of replies on threads.

I use Red Line V Twin trans with shock proof in the trans and Redline V Twin Primary in the primary and HD Syn 3 in the engine

Trans shifts smoother than with dino or the Syn 3 and the clutch is smooth with the primary oil

Get the one that says for V-Twins, the other is probably for diesel truck engines.
Not that that its a bad choice, HD actually recommends it if your in a pinch and need to top off the tank.
But the one for V-Twins is blended specifically for the air cooled aluminum engine in your bike.
