automotive oil has lots of additives
I use Bel Ray for the trans and no wine or clank and I can find neutral. I use Motor FactoryŽ Primary Case Lube in the primary. because Amsoil has gone up so much I just switched to Mobil 1 for vtwin and it works as good. I have 45,000 miles in about 2 years and it runs great and no debris in the oil changes.

+1 for Xaran and/or Other sheep. I use Redline for tranny and Mobil 1 for primary.

Reason being Mobil 1 easier to get at local auto stores. If I could get RedLine locally, I'd go all the way. Just seems ridiculous to pay added shipping. Bottom line all major oil (amsoil, Royal Purple, etc) are good. I definitely do see a difference using Redline for the tranny. I'll stick with that. Mobil 1'm happy with. Didn;t see any difference from using RedLine or Mobil 1 for primary...

SEARCH this and U could read 24-7 till this time next week and still have more to read...

Okay for the um tenth time,,,,
IMO the oil I use for the easy of finding and price and in the top 5 or so is................................................ .................................................. ............................

Mobil1 V Twin 20-50 in motor and Primary.
Mobil1 V TwinGL 75-90 in cold weather and 75-140 in hot weather.

Check out this page, its in the forum here, under OIL and Related topics....
https://www.hdforums.com/forum/oil-a...ted-topics-30/

Theres even a poll that U can see what the members in here use the most.....

Then read some of the threads in the section, U can learn a lot.

Little tip for U..........., There is no best oil........just like theres no best seat, or best tires, or best pipes or best cams......

I have been using Shell Rotella T 15w40 in just about everything I own and it seems to be the least $$$ and most available Oil on the market. Even the MoCo recomends it, if you can't find the $$$$$ stuff. still using the stock HD oil filter.

I'm no expert but I tried Amsoil but switched to Mobile 1 V-twin when they started stabbing me big time for shipping. I like them both but I can get Mobil 1 at my nearest autozone. Now I run Mobile 1 in everything.
