They don't call me Retro for nothing, and now the tank emblem has to go. I've never really liked it and narrowed it down to these 3 choices.

And just for the record, I've pretty much selected which one but would love to hear what all have to say. I found this tank emblem at a shop who allowed me to take it outside and put it up to the tank, it looked awesome.

So weigh in if you will.

i agree...i hate the one on my deluxe too. i like the first one

 

The third one is really nice and unique, the picture is bad. If I seen a real good pic it may be my choice. As of now, A gets my vote.

 

If you have to change it I would say A.
I presonally like the one that's on it.....but to each his/her own

A. is from the 61-62 era
B. is from the 58-60 era
C. is from the 36-46 era

So they are all old school....

Hope you guys dont mind me asking but,doesnt the emblem on the tanks represent that particular model bike?The reason i ask is that i was thinking of changing mine to the gold emblem from the aniversary 05 model.Does changing the emblem take anything away from the bike since you wont be able to actually identify the year since it would have a different emblem.Like the 05 model which is very identifiable because of the emblem.
