hey, new to the site just bought a 06 deuce and was curuious about what would be involved in installing a 200 series rear tire?? any help would be appreciated......thanks.

 

Despite what others will tell you, you can simply change the rear fender, buy a 5.5" wheel, space the pulley, machine your caliper down to .900 and grind a bit off the inside of the inner primary and you will be good to go. I have the calipers machined in chrome if you ever decide to do it.

 

its simple really, you can space the wheel over and keep your stock belt(its a tight fit though) or you can go to the 06 standard belt which is narrower and keep the stock spacers. both of these require anew 5.5 wheel. also, you can keep your stock fender by doing a few little mods to the strut mounts......mine has the 200 with stock fender and narrow belt.....works and looks great!!!

I WANT TO GO THE CHEAPEST WAY POSSIBLE AND PUT A 200MM ON MY 01 DEUCE IF THAT IS TO MUCH i WOULDN'T MIND A 180MM I JUST DONT WANT TO PAY A LOT TO HAVE THIS DONE
