Rocker C - Danny Gray Seat!
Hi all,
Thanks for the advice so far. My question is a simple one and i'm sure it has been covered before, but I just want to confirm my understanding before I buy a DG seat.
Once a DG seat is fitted to my Rocker C, is it a simple process to swap back to the stock 'trick seat' when the girlfreind want to hop on?
How long does it take and will I need a degree in engineering to do it?
Thanks.......Doug

The stock rocker c seat has a lot more hardware involved in its mounting. Not hard mount. But the bolts, springs, bushings and hardware can get lost and if you are constantly removing and installing you will tire of that soon enough. The Danny Gray mounts with two bolts, easy to install and remove.
I did have a Jeff Phipps saddle which is more comfortable but doesn't quite close the gap to give the look I want. I also hit a deep pot hole while riding on the Jeff Phipps saddle and the fender slapped the back of this seat causing a flat spot on the fender.
I went to the Danny Gray to close up the gap and hide the damage from the Jeff Phipps seat. But it is a rougher ride (the fender is constantly tagging the back of the seat). A film is provided to apply to the fender to prevent any damage to the paint.
In the long run, I will be going with the Heartland conversion when the $$$$$ start showing back up in my life. It appears to solve all the problems of ride comfort, going solo or two up easily and getting the bike to look right. My .
