how old is the softail? 1984?? I cant find info on this. any good pics of what they first looked like?

Models

Yes, 1984 was the first FXST Softail. Google it and see/read all you want. Can't imagine how you say you can't find anything on it.

Not a whole lot different than my 99, as far as looks go. 84 had kick start, along with electric, 4 speed, rear chain, and I think Shovel bottom end, and EVO top.

 

Yeah I have a "special" connection with the Softail. Came out the year I was born. It's a sign...really.

 

Now I feel old
