i could handle a 1000 if that was with the rear seat and all, i just thought about the shadetree and it thats swingarm mounted her spine would take a hit everytime we hit a bump, i agree happy wife= happy life especially becuase she bought me the bike as a coming home present from iraq

Give Heartland a call and let them know you're situation and that you are half way around the world in the biggest sandbox making sure they sleep well at night and see what kind of deal they give you then..... They should be able to cut you something. They are good people. Let them know you are thiking about other products and you are thinking about going with them.

kyles fender and sissy will NOT take a pillion......dont think it will for one second as your pillion will be hurt........my sissy has snapped twice and others have also. this man may have good ideas but his fab work is shoddy i cant believe thats what he said. as i said previous heartland for 2 up riding or travis dasher has one from kustomworks that looks solid.....pm him for details

Definitely!
if you use shadetree, or any other fender mounted to the swing arm, the passenger had better be hardcore, cause they will be riding a ridged!

I poster earlier a possibility that I'm checking out. I bought Heartlands Bobber fender for my XBNZ (just the fender, not the whole kit). Very reasonable price. No struts, though. But my idea was to mount the new Rocker Touring Passenger seat set-up, as it floats above the fender and mounts where the struts used to be. I won't buy this until my wife really makes noise about not riding, but I'm pretty sure it will work, and shoud be very quick on/off.
