Default 500 mile check

My dealer says bring back in at 500 mile for first check. My Harley book says 1000. Why 500? Why not like the book.

Is it a Courtesy/complimentary Service check, or are they going to charge you? If they are going to charge you, wait until 1000, Unless you have an ESP and its already paid for.

They want to charge me 320.00 for service. I went to Biker Bay 125.00 for same service.

The only bike that requires a 500 mile service is a springer.

Your dealer is trying to take you for a ride. Find a new place to do business.

1K, 5K and every 5 after that. Pretty simple.

1000 miles, 5000 miles, 10000 miles, 15000 miles etc. that is the service schedule. Take it in and tell them they can do it if it is complimentary, otherwise you are going to take it to an honest dealer.
