Default Avon Cobra tires?

Anyone running these?
http://www.avon-tyres.co.uk/motorcycle/cobra
I know tire threads have been beat to death but I don't recall seeing any reviews on these tires.

Thanks

I am running the 240/40VR18 on mine. I got about 4200 miles on my stock wheels and close to 6000 on a Dunlop Elite III. Just recently put the Avon Cobra on, so I haven't been able to put a lot of miles on it as yet. However, it seems to have made the ride a bit smoother than my two previous tires (of course that could be just me), and it appears to grip the road a tad beter. My son has one on his Wide Glide and my daughters boyfriend has one on his night train, both of them really like the tire.

Avons's are made of a softer compound giving the bike a smoother feel. They will probably last a few less miles than the stock tires, but handle like a dream. Think about it this way, the tires are what connects you to the ground and are worth getting good ones. JMHO.

I'm running a stock size (200-55/17) Cobra on my NT. Once I found the "sweet spot" for inflation pressure, I felt that the handling improved and the bike actually feels lighter now.

I have them and love how sticky they are.... Pretty sure they will not last as long as the dunlops.

I've got them and I'd give them a great rating in the dry but less than fair in the wet. The Dunlop was much better in the rain than the Avon.

Thanks for all the feedback.

Looks like I found my next set of tires.

Will probably order them for my Christmas present to myself this year.

I'm running the Cobra's on both wheels and getting much better mileage than the Dunlops or Metzlers i've tried. Plus they look and handle much better too.
