Big Sea Daddy,

Best of luck to you. I know the drill. I got hit by a deer while riding my Deuce 15 months ago. Shattered my right leg just above the ankle. Two surgeries later, one steel rod and multiple pins I still limp. Managed to ride a Harley again before I could walk. You'll get through it ok.

If they have to do the 'fuse' make sure they shape it to fit the bike. Seriously though, good luck. Hope all goes well and your back on that bike next riding season.

Chief, the good ol' AF docs told me they wanted to fuse my L5-S1 due to degenerative disc disease (gotta love ruck marches). I *politely* declined, as it would have prevented my upcoming vacation to the desert.

Good luck, see you on the road next fall

Good luck for the Op, at least you wil be repairing over the winter for the next bout of good weather. I had the nerves stripped out of my right foot 2 yrs ago, it was a bit odd at first with no feel on the back brake, however the human body and mind is a fantastic thing and we can adapt to anything, just take your time, no running before walking and dont get frutrated.

regards

That sounds fun. Reason for it?
