Default Fat Boy Rear Fender on Cross Bones.

I have heard that a Fat Boy rear fender is an easy swap on a Cross Bones. Uses same struts. Can anyone verify this or have already done this conversion? A Seattle dealership has converted several but depends on who there you talk to the difficulty.

Thanks for any info!

Should be an easy swap, but make sure you get an 07-up FatBoy fender, as it fits the 200mm rear tire.

Make sure you get the wire lume in the new fatboy fender. Its a cheap part and makes the wiring easier. I tired to remove old and reattach wth no success. I went for the new part.

Good luck and post those pictures!!

I like the look of some of the bobbed fenders But I need the two up seat for my back. So this fender set up would work better for me . Please keep us updated as I want to do something other then just the stock rear

I think it would look really cool. Any pictures of one that is done?

I would have to think that it is straight forward (200mm tire version of the fb fender) and the time would be spent doing some wiring, but even that can't be much.

+1 on that.

Getting those torx bolts out of the struts is going to be the hardest part of it all ... I ruined 2 perfectly good trox wrenches on mine when I put on the saddle bags.
