Just out of curiosity, what does the crossbones do that the rocker doesn't?
If I could, I would meld the two and get the Cross Rocker (aka Crocker )
Springer all the way
Thats my thought if you like the rocker for the rear end, get a Crossbone and loose the bobtail fender for one tied to the swing arm and
Shazam a Crocker
If I were you, I'd just throw some ape hangers on your Road King and you're set! I've always liked that look...but that's just me. If it was between Cross Bones and a Rocker, I'd go with the Night Train. Ha, ha.

i had a night train. my road king is lowered 2" front and rear. i'll try and post some pictures. i was at the dealer yesterday and rode both bikes. the dealer had two xbones for me to try. one was with the standard solo seat and the other had a brawler seat on it. the xbones w/brawler seat was a better ride than the stock bones. the lower seat made the bike more fun to ride, where as the stock bones made me sit to high up. loike i was on top of the bike. i do like the look of the solo spring seat.
if i get the bones, i would lower the bike about 2" and change the springs on the seat.
i would also put a different rear fender on, like a rocker style. speaking of the rocker, i didn't care about the way the front end felt. i didn't like the floppy feel of the front tire. couldn't get a handle on it. so, i guess i'm gonna go with the xbones. i'll let everyone know when i get it.
thanks for all the input.
You can make either model look extremely bada$$ if you have the funds...I think the springer front end would put the xbones over the rocker IMO. I also like the sprung seat w/ a different rear fender and exhaust...
