Stock heads are ok on the Twin cam engines. But as for cfm Evo heads flow better than twin cams. You will spend good money to get your stock heads ported and polished then flow benched. for the money when your ready to spend it get some hi flowing heads. I'm not even going to get into brands and who is better than who. Another thing about putting cams in the twin cam engine. Depending on the lift of your new cams they will shorten the life of your chain tensioner and throwing off your timing up to 5 degrees. Yes the chains are quieter but are not the best for performance. gear driven cams would be better if you are looking for high performance.
