Default Lowering Kit - which one?

What are the pros and cons to using the replacement shocks to lower my fatboy in the rear or using just the studs to do it which is a lot more economical.

Also, what are some good brands of lowering kits for rear other than the HD ones.

thanks

Warg, got mine from Toxichoppers on Ebay. I just bought the studs. Work great, no complaints. $30.00 free shipping.
