Joined the XBONES Bobber Club

Well, just finished phase one of XBONES bobber conversion before the scoot goes to sleep for the winter. After much debate, I went with the Heartland 200mm bobber fender (not the full kit), and then instead of drilling my frame, I had my favorite local indy fab a top mounting bracket for the fender (already has a lower mount), as well as re-jigger my splash guard to cover my relocated ECM, which is behind the oil tank. Then I added Auto Gem Baby bullets and mounted them with brackets that I had my indy retap to fit the strut mount bolt holes, and paint black to blend in. Last touches include the cool rear light compliments of Shadetree Fab, and an RB Racing LSR 2-1 exhaust with RSD air cleaner. I have a TTS, and first thing next spring, will dial the map in. Here are some pix:

Have a nice battery cover being worked on by Shaun at SOKUSTOM and next steps may be the aluminum grips from shadetree, and blacking out primary, etc. Feels good to be a member of the "Bob Bones" club!
