Have you done many long miles days? repeatively? Am trying to determine if these things will be good for long trips; that's mainly why i ride.

I haven't done more than 300 in a day since I got em, but after 300 I was fine. I usually set the throttle lock and relax once we hit the open road.

Not sure if you remember me, but I work with John L down here in Texas. I still need to make the trip north with him someday

I'm 6 foot even and have 18's on my bike...I've done 400 in a day with these and was fine. Now, I do have some monkey arms so 18's are an easy reach for me.

I've seen some pretty short guys riding bikes with 16's apes and higher without any problems...where I live seems like everybody has them...I don't think a long ride with 16's should be a problem.

Make sure your state laws are OK with that height. I am 6 foot and that's close to shoulder height. I'm happy with my mini's right now, but am thinking about 12 ot 13s. We'll see.

I'm about 6'1".
Love my 16" Carlini's. I would never go back to drag bars.

Don't know about 700 miles in a day as Okinawa is only about 60 miles long.
Can't wait to get back to the states.........
